Rich is our resident displaced Cantabrian, via Auckland.  He’s been in the wine trade for 15 years, starting as a glassy, and was last seen running one of Auckland’s busier bottle stores.  When a move to Wellington loomed there really was only one place to work - obviously Regional Wines and Spirits.

A fanatic for anything made with passion, he’s particularly keen on Riesling, Italian and Spanish reds, and anything from the Rhone Valley.  He was a pretty dedicated lager drinker until he was put straight by the Regional team – now its all about the hops.

When he’s not working he’ll be checking the sights, sounds and tastes of Wellington, loving the fact he can walk pretty much anywhere.  His special lady friend has a pretty big list of restaurants she wants to tick off, so he most probably will be found in one of those, or down in Hashigo Zake drinking an ale.
