The full results from the Australian
International Beer Awards are out now and can be viewed here. The A.I.B.A. is
the largest annual beer competition on earth. New Zealand brewers have had a
fantastic year taking away 45 medals, and 2 of the 15 Best in Class Trophies!

Emerson’s have continued their
winning streak with a gold and Best in Class Trophy for Weizenbock , a silver
for Bookbinder, and Weissbier and a bronze medal for 1812.

Gluten free brewer Scott’s
Brewing Co took a Silver for primary packaging, a Gold for secondary packaging
and a Best in Class Trophy for Packaging over all.

Waikanae’s Tuatara have taken
away four silver medals. One for Porter, one for Pilsner, one for IPA, and one
for Hefe.

Blenhem’s Renaissance achieved
silver medals for all four beers they entered, Discovery APA, Perfection Pale
Ale, Elemental Porter and Paradox Blonde.

Wellington’s own
Yeastie Boys took a Silver for Pot Kettle Black the one beer they entered.

8 Wired took a bronze for Hopwired
IPA.

Invercargill Brewing Co took a
silver for Smokin Bishop, a Bronze for Boysenbeery and Pitch Black.
