In August Regional will be playing a
significant part in the BrewNZ beer awards and the Beervana Beer Festival on
the 27th and 28th of August. This year Regional will be:

Sponsoring the Festive Brew
Category Award at the BrewNZ Beer Awards

Running a stand at the Beervana
Festival where we will be serving a range of rare and interesting beers including our own R.S.B.

Providing behind the scenes
logistics including receiving and arranging competition entries
-
Sending staff to judge and
steward at the awards.
The theme for the Festive Brew Category
this year is “Lets Go Native” with brewers being encouraged to use native New Zealand
or identifiably ‘Kiwi’ ingredients.
As a result of all this activity we will
not be running a tutored beer tasting in August however we will be running a
series of special and interesting beers on the FYO through out BrewNZ week
which runs from the 23rd to the 28th of August.
