The traditional ‘Steam Beer’ or California Common. A hybrid beer that uses a lager yeast but ferments at ale temperatures in large shallow open fermentors. Light zesty floral hop notes compliment a warm caramel malt aroma. In the mouth the beer has a rounded caramel malt character, some citrus fruit and a rounded finish.
