Brewed each year to the same general recipe but with differing malts and hops, Fullers Vintage Ale is released each October. This years release marks 12 years of brewing this remarkable beer. The 2009 vintage includes Tipple malted barley, Goldings hops and the incredibly distinctive Fuller’s yeast strain. A complex aroma of warm nutty malt, marmalady yeast, and citrusy hops leads into a rich malt accented palate with loads of tangy hop flavour , caramel notes and a warm rounded finish. Try it with a chunk of sharp traditional cheddar and a Christmas mince pie.
