Mussel Inn Captain Cooker 330Ml

The Mussel Inn in Golden Bay has been busily doing things differently for the last 16 years. Captain Cooker is a modern re-creation of the first beer brewed in New Zealand by Captain Cook in Dusky Sound, and uses the tips of the manuka tree rather than hops to create an enchanting range of spicy exotic flavours. Ginger, cardamom, rose water and freshly cut timber notes are all presented over a rich rounded malt base. The result is a complex beer that is also perilously drinkable.  

Drink with: Crème Brule, Turkish delight, Pavlova . If you’re lucky you might find yourself sitting at Logan Brown eating a rose water panna cotta with it!
