An effervescent cider made from selected Central Otago apple varieties to give the right balance of flavour and bite. The juice is extracted using the traditional rack and cloth method, then fermented and conditioned for at least six months to mellow. Serve chilled.

Easter weekend I flew up to Auckland and had a great time visiting family. I made sure I went to Maison Vauron, a must if you enjoy French wines and also Galbraiths to try a few craft beers.

It's been a busy week for me. Monday I tasted my way through 12 single malts before 1:00pm. On Tues I was lucky enough to try one of the worlds great wines.
