New Glendronachs Have Arrived

The new look GlenDronachs have just arrived , as was the case in 1826 the GlenDronach distillery patiently matures its single malt whisky in superior quality sherry casks, hand crafted from European oak,by the most reputable and renowned bodegas in the south of spain. Over the years of extended maturation these carefully seasoned casks help create the unique richly sherried style that GlenDronach is famous for.

The GlenDronach 12 year old 43%
Original has been matured inside the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez Sherry casks.Its still doing james Allardice proud over 180 years later.
Nose: Sweet, Creamy vanilla, with hints of ginger and autumn fruits.
Palate: Rich, Creamy, Silky-smooth. Warm, rich oak and sherry sweetness.Full mouth feel, rasins and soft fruits. Spicy with a medium length.
Finish: Long, full and firm. Slightly nutty.
Appearance: Deep amber-red gold.

The GlenDronach 15 year old 46%
Revival the GlenDronah 15 year old is a remarkable whisky full of character, matured in nothing but the finest Oloroso sherry casks. its is an excellent and memorable single malt.
Nose: Incredible concentration of aromas. Treacle toffee and chocolate orange, nutty notes and vanilla.
Palate: A very dynamic and full bodied dram, chewy with coffee, chocolate orange and treacle scones.
Finish: A veritable feast to enliven the senses.
Appearance: deep gold with a lovely mahogany heart.

The GlenDronach 18 year old 46%
Allardice the GlenDronach 18 year old is matured in premium Oloroso sherry casks, sourced from Bodegas in the south of Spain. It's a sublime and truly unforgettable malt.
Nose: Lovely and sweet, fudge compote and glacier morello cherries, fabulous complexity.
Palate: Remarkable flavours of stewed fruits and spice. Aged Oloroso and toasted walnut bread combined with chocolate orange.
Finish: Tremendously complex and long.
Appearance: Bright deep gold with a tawny centre.

The GlenDronach 33 year old 40%
Hugely intense and full of character, a malt that displays elegance and exudes class. It's a delightful whisky to be sipped and savoured." A golden nugget of a dram".
Nose: Pronounced and sweet, Huge and aromatic with a combination of sweet stewed fruits. nuts and chocolate fondant. Alluring.
Palate: A myriad of spiced fruits drizzled in bitter chocolate sauce. This fronts a second wave of flavours including walnut cake and mocha. rich and unctuous to the core. An alcoholic liquid dessert.
Finish: A masterful dram which pleases the most jaded of palates, Fantastic stuff.
Appearance: Rich mahogany with a distinctive tawny heart. Viscous and syrupy.

The road that lies ahead may be long but so often, life is more about the journey.
