New Malts In For Christmas 2011

What could possibly be a better treat for yourself I mean for your loved one than a great bottle of malt whisky?

New in the store:

Islay:
Kilchoman inaugural 100% Islay 50% limited edition in heavy bass glass bottle. Fresh/refill bourbon wood. Pale gold colour.
Lagavulin Distiller's Edition 4/498 1994 - 2010 double matured in PX 43%. Label kindly states 239kcalories/100mls. We also have the 16yo and the 12yo cask strength available.
Bunnahabhain 40 year old 1969 - 20120 bottled by Lonach Whisky at Cask Strength of 40%. Full colour. Wow.
Laphroaig 10 year old Cask Strength batch 002 Jan 2010 58.3% this legend is finally back in.

Highlands/Speyside:
Highland Park 25 year old 48.1% dark colour. Back in!
Talisker Distillers Edition 1999 - 2010 45.8% Jerez Amoroso finish. Gorgous.
Dallas Dhu 31 year old Signatory 5.6.1979 - 22.06.2010 from refill butt #1385 bottle 355/505. Old gold colour. Fantastic presentation of a long-closed distillery.
Teaninich 27 year old Signatory 7.12.1983 - 17.06.2011 from refill butt #8069 bottle 331/618. Dirty gold colour. Fantastic presentation of a rare north-highland. Teaninichs often have a little Brora about them.
Tomatin 18 year old 46% Oloroso finish. Label says it rhymes with "Satin". Nice sounding tasting notes on the label. Follow the link to see.
Glenrothes 43% 7.9.1991 - 24.5.2007, note old bottling!

Lowlands
Bladnoch 19 year old 55% full amber colour. Lowlands are not to be underestimated for sophistication. Especially for those suffering from the "Wellington Curse".
