NOSE: Dry, implied smoke? alc, youthful, vanilla custard, apple shampoo, creaming soda, oak.
PALATE: Sweet, creaming soda, wood, warm, bourbon fizz.
FINISH: Salt, quite long, but low, citrous twist

Scored 9.20 and came first at our Esoteric Speyside tastings in June 2011!
Nose: Woody, chocolate nuts, caramel pineapple, leather, tobacco, pine sawdust, anaesthetic gas, honey, ozone fizz, old.
Palate: "There's the Winner!" Salt, alcohol, varnish. Nod.
Finish: Spice, sweet tang, an energizer of a finish.
RWS/DMM
Nose: Closed. Sweet toffee with tropical fruits - pineapple and kiwi fruit. Some dry grass and cedar wood elements.
Palate: Powerful, very sweet - cloying, spices with burnt fruitcake flavours mellowing into leafy and dry glass Complex, rich and powerful
Finish: Gentle fruitiness with a hint of chocolate.
Style: A big, powerful whisky - full of Speyside character.
