Regional Wines has managed to acquire a small allocation of Esk Valley ‘The Terraces’ in two vintages, the new release 2006 and previous release of 2004. This is truly one of this country’s special wines, from a unique terraced site behind the winery, planted to 43% Malbec, 35% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc. Unusually, all three varieties are harvested and co-fermented together by winemaker Gordon Russell, and the resultant wine is a representation of the vineyard. The wines are collectors’ items and we offer them on a first-in basis.
