Fonseca & Taylors 2007 Vintage Port Offer

The long-awaited 2007 Vintage Ports are now beginning to be offered. It was in 2003 that we last saw a vintage of outstanding quality that resulted in a general declaration by the port houses. The 2007s are indeed considered superb, especially after a run of variable harvests since 2003, where quality was not up to standard or the quantities produced insufficient, allowing the production of a limited number of single quinta vintage releases. The 2007s are the result of a long, cool summer and extremely even growing period and have yielded very aromatic wines of elegance and balance. In line with the latest trends in Vintage Port vinification, the wines can be drunk young, but will fulfil their potential in the usual two decade recommended bottle aging. Port aficionados say the 2007s have the aromatics of the 1992s and the structure of the 1966s. Regional Wines & Spirits is pleased to be able to offer two of the great 2007 Vintage Ports in 750 ml format on an indent basis.
