I’m
salivating just thinking about this tasting! Shiraz is what put Australian wine on the map
and snags are what Australians put on the barbie (and shrimps of course). In
fact Down Under, Shiraz
might well be to sausages what champagne is to caviar!
When:
Saturday 2nd October 2010
Time:
11am – 4 pm
What
does it cost: Not a sausage…
We
have snag specialists Harringtons along for the day, who will be running one of
their Sausage Seminars, matching the familiar berry, chocolate, mint and
coffee flavours of Shiraz
with their array of fine sausages. Some
of the Shiraz
is seriously swanky stuff too…we’ll have open the iconic Penfold’s St Henri
Shiraz 2006 which will usually set you back a touch over $80.
