Antinori Igt Toscana 07

This wine was introduced in 1928 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori, the father of Piero Antinori, as the first Chianti ever produced suited for being aged and improving over time. In 2001, Piero Antinori launched a new step in the evolution of Villa Antinori, making it a Tuscan IGT produced with the best selection of grapes originating exclusively from estates located in Tuscany. The design of the labels has remained unaltered since 1928: it was only slightly retouched for the 1990 and 2001 vintages.

55% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot e 5% Syrah

Color: intense ruby red. Aroma: intense and complex with notes of spices, mint, and chocolate, which are particularly felt along with light aromas of ripe cherries. On the palate the wine, savory and long, is full-bodied and round with supple and velvety tannins.
