The private reserve of Concha y Toro’s founder, Don Melchor, was called ‘Cellar of the Devil’ to keep strangers away. The modern ‘Casillero del Diablo’ wines highlights fruit and region, the Carmenere variety grown in the Rapel Valley of Chile, with its dark berry and wild herb flavour and deep lusty palate. 13.5% alc, aged 8 months in 70% American oak.
