Escarpment Pinot Noir Pahi 09

Pahi has a certain delicacy in the line up, being perhaps the most ethereal and pretty of the three single vineyards from 2009. It has just the hint of tannin early in its life cycle but I expect this to blend in with some of the attractive elements of the palate, like Eastern spices and Central Plateau paspallum. It's a very vivid wine and encapsulates why pinot is the most mysterious wine of all. 19.0+/20 AC Apr 11
