ESCARPMENT RIES HINEMOA 09 375ML

Escarpment Ries Hinemoa 09 375Ml

$28.45 375 MLS
Escarpment Vineyard Martinborough ‘Hinemoa’ Late Harvest Riesling 2009 (19.0-/20) at 9.5% alc and 120 g/l rs was made at the German Beerenauslese level. Light golden straw yellow in colour, this had a tightly bound nose that was just opening up to reveal beautifully hedonistic honied and marmalade aromas with lime and citrus fruit varietal nuances. Very sweet, the lusciousness and richness is superbly balanced by racy acidity and the finesse of the wine is achieved by the tightness of fruit. Very fine textured and delicately unctuous, this had a very long finish.  RC March 10
