Fromm ‘Clayvin’ Pinot Noir 2005 (18.0/20) was youthful and unforthcoming at present. Linear raspberry and cherry flavours with a ripeness and plumpness, there is acidity and a firmness to the mouthfeel, which will soften over the next few years.  RC Sept 08

A single site wine, the Fromm ‘Clayvin’ Pinot Noir 2005 (19.0-/20) was garnet coloured with a very intense, linear nose of dark cherry-berry aromas with floralds as well as a forest floor complexing nuance. Plush, juicy and rich, there was a tight, fine-grained tannin intensity giving refinement and real length.  RC July 08
