Wine Analysis
Alcohol 13.5%
pH 2.95
TA 7.8g/l
RS 14.2 g/l
Very varietal nose, with clean, bright aromas of lime and blossom.
The palate is weighty and full, but has a delicious minerality which
complements the sweet fruit. The finish is long and pure, with a
lovely balance maintained throughout.
Cellaring
The
freshness of fruit makes this wine approachable already - very clean
and delicious young. Remember though, riesling is a strong candidate
for the cellar. Put it away for over 10 years, and watch those
flavours develop into a toasty, honeyed magnificence.
Some Food Match Suggestions
Perfect as an aperitif. Sensational with bright or clean flavoured food- eg fresh seafood; or Asian food.
