Gosset Champagne ‘Grand Rosé Brut’ NV (18.5+/20), 35% PN, 56% Ch. from 12 crus, with 9% PN red wine from Bouzy and Ambonnay. Soft ‘eye of the partridge’ colour, this had a full, complex, savoury cooked strawberry, biscuity autolysis and aldehyde nose, and an elegant, soft, properly dry palate that had a long finish carried by rich fruit. Very Gosset in style with its more complex, oxidative style. RC June 08
