Guigal Cote-Roie ‘Chateau d’Ampuis’ 2004 (19.0-/20 certainly has those extras. Very fine and tightly bound with spices, game and oak, this was wonderfully aromatic with fragrance from the 7-8% Viognier and new oak. Refined but substantial extraction made this superb. RC July 08
