Straw yellow with subtle golden hues, this has a wild and funky, almost smoky bouquet showing the influence of indigenous yeast fermentation.  This sits alongside floral and honey notes on the nose.  Fully sweet, this has richness with breadth to the palate, the flavours in the yellow fruit spectrum allied to honey, apricots and mineral nuances.  There are exotic tropical fruit notes also.  The wine has real concentration and presence, and excellent acidity to ensure aging for another 7-9 years easily.  9.5% alc.  RC May 10
