The 2008 Huia Gewurztraminer is, believe it or not, a genuine cancelled export order. was sourced from Huia's Winsome vineyard and the Hassan's vineyard on the outskirts of Blenheim. Both vineyards have clay soils with sandy silty pockets.
The nose has fragrant rose petals and candied fruit. The palate is full with generous lychee and Turkish delight character with a long succulent finish. A very rich dry style of Gewurztraminer showing complex layers of flavours.
