Mount Riley has consistently delivered great value for many years. This Pinot Gris punches way above its station. Off dry with 11.0 g/l residual sugar and 13.0% alc, this is full-bodied with rich pear, citrus and apple flavours on a gentle textured palate, and avoids the spirity heat that often dogs many examples of this variety. Very versatile with a range of foods, this will be good drinking over 2-3 years.  EP Oct 09

Bouquet: Fruity pear, citrus and green apple is supported by perfumed floral & unctuous honeysuckle characters.
Palate: Fruity flavours are paramount in this off-dry, full bodied wine. A complex and elegant wine.
Drink: Drinking well now, this wine can be enjoyed until late 2010. Great with white meat, veal, Asian food and cheeses and dried fruits for dessert.
