A most decadent wine, it was a treat to try the Sacred Hill ‘H.A.L.O.’ Botrytis Semillon
2006 (18.5/20). Deep golden colour,
this was a fully sweet, syrupy, dense wine with huge botrytis, marmalade and
honey characters with noticeable oak and a volatile lift. Softish and low acidity, this suited the
‘over the top’ style. RC Nov 08

Extremely rich concentrated and powerful palate, with ripe apricot
honeyed flavours.
