Schaefer Graacher Domprobst Riesling Auslese 2004
Graacher wines combine the strength of those of Bernkastel with the elegance of those of Wehlen. Pale straw yellow colour. Excellent depth of aroma with finesse and elegance, with some botrytis notes alongside the appley, limey fruit. Very sweet, lifted florals and apple with a minerally edge. Great depth and quite tight and firm. Beautiful creamy textures. Good finish. A wine of great finesse.  18.5+/20  RC Dec 05
