*VYNFIELDS RIES CLASSIC 08*

Vynfields Ries Classic 08

$29.65 750 MLS
This is a gorgeous and delicious wine that drinks well in any situation.  Beautiful as an aperitif, the sweetness will enable it to work will with moderately spiced Asian food (especially Thai) and it will match lighter fruit-based desserts.  Straw yellow in colour, quite limpid.  The bouquet is redolent of florals, citrus fruits and soft honey notes.  Medium sweet in richness with 40 g/l rs, the fresh acidity provides the wine with poise and balance, and negates any cloying.  At 11.3% alc., the wine is elegant and its finesse positively inviting.  Excellent line and length.  415 cases made.  RC Dec 09

Certified organic wine

A medium sweet Riesling with lime and honey aromatics.  Rich and luscious in the mouth with flavours of lemon, marmalade and stone fruit with a silky lingering finish.
