ROLET COTES DU JURA VIN JAUNE 09

ROLET COTES DU JURA VIN JAUNE 09

Vin jaune is an oxidative wine made from the Savignin grape in the Jura region in France. The wine is left in barrel for a minimum of 6 years and 3 months under a veil of yeast. This process, not unlike the flor aging of sherry, promotes complex aromatics of dried fruit, baked apples and floral notes. This is an excellent example of a curious and special wine.

This vin jaune is bottled in a 620 ml 'clavelin' bottle.
