TE KAIRANGA PINOT NOIR RUNHOLDER 18

TE KAIRANGA PINOT NOIR RUNHOLDER 18

Under the direction of Chief Winemaker, John Kavanagh, the Te Kairnaga winemaking philosophy places a premium on the character of the site. The grapes are harvested block by block and vinified individually with punch-downs and gentle pressing to ensure full extraction without sacrificing elegance. Balanced oak treatment and minimal fining and filtration help preserve both varietal character and the inimitable personality of the terroir.

The 2018 Runholder Pinot Noir is derived from six clones grown on the Martinborough Estate. Beautiful dark red hues lead to an aromatic flurry of complex cherries, spice and classic Martinborough savoury notes. The palate is velvety and complex with vibrant fruit depth, refined tannins, and a long finish.
