Banfi is an iconic producer of Brunello di Montalcino, one of Tuscany's most sought after wines and made entirely from a very highly regarded clone of the Sangiovese grape grown in the hillside town of Montalcino.
Brunello takes its name from 'brown', a reference to the hue of the particular clone of Sangiovese.
