PETIT CLOS SAUVIGNON BLANC 18

PETIT CLOS SAUVIGNON BLANC 18

“Why make good wine when you can make it excellent,” says Henri Bourgeois, of the famous French winemaking family, which has produced classic dry whites in Chavignol, in the Loire Valley, France, for 10 generations.

New Zealand is lucky to have this family here now, with their Kiwi outpost, a 45 hectare vineyard in Marlborough, which they have planted along the same lines as in their own homeland, namely, close planted vines, low to the ground, organically certified and quality focussed.

All of their wines are outstanding and we're super impressed with this savoury, dry, super affordable entry level wine, which punches above its weight, thanks to a few months of lees aging prior to release.

* We also stock a wide range of the Henri Bourgeois Sancerres - ask our staff to point you in their direction for a great taste comparison.
