This is a champagne of impressive depth and freshness with citrus and hazelnut aromas leading into a palate with a super concentrated, creamy mouthfeel, balanced by a taut structure and long finish. Flavours of toasted nuts and spice, freshly baked whole meal sourdough and more all add depth and complexity to this outstanding champagne.
It is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne and 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. The primary fermentation was partially in oak (20%) and the dosage is 4 grams per liter, making this wine bone dry.
