CHAT DE BEAUCASTEL CNP ROUGE 16

CHAT DE BEAUCASTEL CNP ROUGE 16

Chateauneuf du Pape was the first French wine appellation when it was formed in 1936 to protect the authenticity of the region’s wines, which were highly sought after, as they are today. The wines of Chateau de Beaucastel have been made by the Perrin family for five generations and this blend offers a deliciously tasty, full bodied, multi layered dry red made from an intriguing mix of grapes, including 30% each of Mourvèdre and Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise and smaller quantities of other permitted varieties in the region.
This blockbuster red beauty has decades of aging up its vinous sleeve and also drinks beautifully right now, thanks to a great vintage, talented winemaking family and a classic wine region.
