GUIBERTEAU SAUMUR ROUGE DOMAINE 19
If you want to experience a pure expression of Cabernet Franc, you can't get much better than this full bodied red wine made from a two hectare vineyard planted between 1955 and 1957 on silt and sandy soils over limestone and farmed organically. All grapes in this wine are hand harvested, 100% de-stemmed and fermented with indigenous yeast then the wine was aged for six months in tank. The result is a pure, fruit forward expression of one of the world's greatest and most under appreciated red grapes. Try it.
