GUY FARGE SAINT PERAY 19
JancisRobinson.com, Alistair Cooper MW - 16/20
"Tasted blind. Mineral and honeyed nose with wet hay. Lots of freshness and a ripe mid palate showing honeycomb and lentils. A broad palate with moderate acidity and a layered finish. 90% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne. Aged in stainless steel. Tank sample. (AC)." Drink 2021 - 2028
Parker's Wine Advocate, Joe Czerwinski 91/100 (2017 vintage)
"An unusual blend of 90% Roussanne with 10% Marsanne, the 2017 Saint Peray Grain de Silex is a perennial star. Honeyed orange marmalade on the nose pick up hints of melon and citrus on the fresh, lively finish. Medium to full-bodied, it's weighty on the palate yet turns zesty and refreshing on the finish."
