Soils
Limestone hillsides dating from the Jurassic period located between 150 and 300 m above sea level for Syrah; limestone sandstone and marl hillsides from the Rognacian period for Merlot.
Grape varieties:
60% Merlot, 40% Syrah.
Médoc vinification
100% destemming. Slow maceration (15 to 20 days), temperature 28 to 33°C. (The absence of filtration may result in a slight sediment)
Partial Aging
8 to 9 months in barrels of 1 to 3 wines.
Yield
45 – 50 hl/ha

Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Sunday 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Tuesday 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
