THE FUDER SAUVIGNON BLANC DILLONS POINT 13
This wine puts the capital 'n' in Next level Sauvignon Blanc. It's made from certified organic, hand harvested grapes, which were fermented in 1000 litre German oak barrels (known as fuder, hence the name). The Dillon's Point Vineyard is one of the oldest in Marlborough, planted in 1991 on the east of the Opawa Stream. It's a highly respected vineyard in this country's biggest wine region and home to some of the best Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This wine is a stunner and drinks well now, but can age further, improving with time.
