Fabulously smooth and complex Pinot Noir from the Giesen's Ridge Block Vineyard in the Southern Valleys in Marlborough, which produce the region's most complex Pinot Noirs. The grapes in this wine were hand harvested and fermented with wild yeasts then basket pressed to French oak barriques, incorporating 25% new oak in the wine, which provides support structure and accentuates the wine's complexity as well as adding a smooth touch to the mouthfeel.
