Stunning medium bodied dry white made from Portugal's delicious Alvarinho grape, best known and loved for its lovely lemon flavours and refreshing depths of dry, savoury aroma notes.
This is an excellent example of a great white to drink with seafood, fresh or dried.
About Alvarinho
The hallmark of Alvarinho is its high acidity, which provides this wine with its innate and deliciously succulent freshness - something this tasty little white has in spades. It's medium bodied and totally dry with great character. Portuguese wines are on trend globally, thanks to the discovery of the country's vast range of interesting indigenous grape varieties, mostly red but with increasing volumes of great whites too, such as this wine, which is produced by Casa Santos Lima. We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday 18th December at 5 am for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and the Tuesday19th December at 10am for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
