Calvados

The Calvados Victor Gontier has been obtained for three generations by distilling typical apple and pear varieties that are extremely suitable for the production of cider. In the case of Victor Gontier, these are exclusively harvested in the protected area of origin of the AOP Domfrontais. All Calvados types mature here on wooden barrels and are all sold with an indication of the year, because it is distilled and matured in one go without blending.

Chateau du Breuil - It is the youngest Calvados of our range. Fresh, tonic, refined, vigorous, very fruity, it allows to discover the "Appellation Pays d'Auge Contr?l?e" Calvados. It contains all the fragrances of Normandy. It has its own bottle whose registered design belongs to our company. It is ideal for cooking, pastry or for making cocktails.

It is a blending of Calvados aged a minimum of 15 years. In fact, it contains percentages of older Calvados that gives it all its nobleness.

It lets in the mouth a subtle taste of apple that gradually gives way to the refined alliances of the tannin of old Calvados. It is perfect harmony between the apple and the wood, with underlying aromas. The Calvados of all the nice moments.

Please note: Due to the regulatory regime of the French Government, there will be less than 700ml of Prisoniere in this bottle. The French tax the apple as well.

Lively aroma of fresh-cut apple. Light, with hints of lemon and steel. Finishes with flavour of apple seeds and crushed peppercorns.

We put liquor in a large barrel and add American roasted and toasted oak flakes. After 3 weeks this mixture is ready to be added to the beer in the bright beer tank. This way we obtain a maximum performance of the used liquor strengthened with the taste of the used oak flakes to enrich our beer.

Calvados has a unique taste that with barrel aging gives a nice twist to the beer that has been on it. This time a Strong Saison. Expect the characteristic Calvados flavors and aromas such as apple, sweet fruits and oak. These together provide a warming and alcoholic mouthfeel.
