We all know the story, don’t we - about how Glendronach was officially mothballed in 1996 and remained silent until it was reopened in May 2002, meaning that the aged expressions were sourced from increasingly older stock as the distillery began to rebuild its inventory and new whisky came of age.
So, just how will the new releases fare next to what have become classics of their time? There’s only one way to find out!
