THE STORY OF TROOPER Real ale fan and history aficionado Bruce Dickinson, Maiden's vocalist, played a major role in developing the unique flavour of the beer, entailing ongoing visits to Robinson’s brewery in Stockport. "I'm a lifelong fan of traditional English ale; I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we were asked to create our own beer. I have to say that I was very nervous: Robinsons are the only people I have had to audition for in 30 years. Their magic has been to create the alchemical wedding of flavour and texture that is TROOPER. I love it."

Trolltunga is a jutting rock in Norway, hanging 700 metres over Lake Ringedalsvatnet. This beer was brewed in collaboration with Lervig to celebrate friendship and a love of wild places.

Aged in fresh Chardonnay barrels for 24 months this unique Saison has undergone a gentle secondary fermentation from Dandelion & Nettle flora harvested from the meadow beside our brewery. Rich, oaky nuances blend with earthy, floral and herbal notes.

This complex BA Saison has rested in fresh Chenin oak for 24 months and is full of dry, woody character with layers of crisp white grape, honeyed floral notes, and a subtle vinous complexity.

This 24 month barrel aged Belgian Tripel marries the bold character of a traditional Tripel with the subtle influence of oak and the intricate vinous flavours imparted by the Graves wine.

Girl From Mars is a session NEIPA, dry hopped with Harlequin, an exciting new British hop from the Charles Faram Hop Development Programme. This beer was created through the love of progressive British hops & the ultra modern styles they can be applied to.

Brewed using a generous blend of finest pale, crystal and roasted barley malts, along with the majestic Fuggle hop, to create a wonderful, full-bodied flavour with subtle banana, cherry and rich fruit overtones.

5.6% ABV.

A velvet, creamy stout packing notes of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Brewed with lactose and a robust malt blend, this milk stout offers a satisfying sweetness that cuts against a light bitterness, brought together through an irresistible velvet texture.

4.4% ABV.

Stand out from the herd with this bold and punchy Imperial Stout. Not for the faint hearted!

Only brewed once a year in small quantities, this limited edition stout beer is strong, complex, and one to savour or share.

A voluminous blend of dark malts builds the base of this stout, full of sugars for our house yeast to chew on, and bringing the ABV up to a hefty 8.5%.  Packed with flavours of dark roasted coffee, chocolate and red fruit, this is the ultimate winter warmer.

Strong. Rich. Complex.

Brewed only on a full moon, King Goblin is crafted from roasted chocolate and crystal malts with infusions of Fuggles, Sovereign, Styrian and Cascade hops. This beer is
indulgently rich, full and smooth.

The Famous Taddy Porter

Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground), malted barley, roasted malt, yeast and hops. Fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’.

A legendary Cornish ale, Hicks is named after the Brewery's founder, Walter Hicks.  Full-bodied, strong and distinctly Cornish, it's gained something of a cult status over the years.  Brimming with flavours, it's a beer worthy of carrying the great man's name
