Regionals was established in 1987 as a wholesale distributor of wines to Wellington restaurants.

 

Originally named Regional Wines & Spirits, we were founded by the late Grant Jones who had a driving passion for local wine.

In 1990, a retail presence was established in the building we currently occupy at the Basin Reserve, and beer and spirits were added to our product range.

Since then, Regionals has become one of New Zealand’s largest single-shop liquor businesses, and has been voted best Bottle Shop by the Wellington public and Capital Times (Wellington, NZ) 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Regional Wines, Beers & spirits has was won the SOBA.Wellington Off License of the Year 2016,
