From the historic Petrignone estate in Forlì’s Oriolo subzone, this Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore Riserva comes from very old vines planted in 1968 on clay–sand soils with pebbles. Harvested by hand at low yields, it is fermented in cement and steel at 28–30°C, with full malolactic conversion, then aged six months in second- and third-fill Allier tonneaux. Balsamic, saline and deeply expressive, it represents the archetype of Romagna Sangiovese, built for ageing and versatile with grilled meats or rich pasta dishes.

Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
Unfortunately Regional Wines cannot take responsibility for the breakage of delivered glassware items.
