'No Renaissance was produced in this vintage. Reminding me of the 2017, the 2022 Cornas reveals gorgeous red and black fruits, violets, bouquet garni, and gamey, iron-like nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has fine tannins, beautiful overall balance, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a gorgeous finish. This is well worth your time and money, and I'd be thrilled with bottles in the cellar. Hide bottles for 5-7 years and enjoy over the following two decades. Drink 2030-2050.'

Clape Cornas exemplifies the robust character and unique terroir of the Cornas appellation. The vineyards are rooted in granite-rich soils which lends a distinct minerality and depth to the wine.
Traditional winemaking techniques including whole-cluster fermentation, and maturation in old oak foudres enhance the wine's complexity and structure which unfolds with Syrah's intense flavours of dark berries, blackcurrants and smoked meats. Earthy undertones, black pepper and violet notes emerge on the long finish, whilst firm tannins and vibrant acidity suggest excellent ageing potential.

Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
