Established in 1864 by French pioneer J.D. Féraud, the Monte Christo Estate is considered to be the birthplace of the Central Otago wine industry, with the winery on the site, which was rebuilt in 1872, being the oldest on the South Island. 

Now, some 150 years later, the winery has been resurrected after a fortuitous twist of fate brought it and the Paris family together.

Join us at Regional Wines as Managing Director and Co-owner Nicholas Paris MW shares the exquisite Monte Christo wines and recounts the remarkable Monte Christo story, old and new.

    Additional delivery fees for Waiheke, Chatham, and Stewart Island

    We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.  

    Exceptions during December:

    In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.

    Unfortunately Regional Wines cannot take responsibility for the breakage of delivered glassware items.
