Confidencial is a taste combination of classic native Portuguese grapes Touriga Nacional (aka queen of Portuguese reds) with the better French red grapes, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. These three powerful red grapes each adds oomph and power to this wine, providing it with a full body, dry flavours and earthy complexity. 

We think that Confidencial offers great value for money and has layers of flavours, which will improve over time in the bottle, but also drink incredibly well right now. Decant and serve in your best big wine glass.

Pale, dry pink wines are all the rage right now from all over the world, and this Portuguese example is made from more than 10 different indigenous Portuguese and international grape varieties, including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional. Together these grapes provide complex red berry aromas with savoury notes of herbs and fresh lees influence from light aging prior to release.

With a bright citrine colour, this sparkling wine reveals elegant fruity aromas, fine and persistent bubble. In the mouth it shows balance due to its freshness, softness and great acidity. A versatile wine to be tasted on different occasions.

Deep juicy red from the arid dry Alentejo region in the south of Portugal, a climate that Syrah loves and adores, giving its best depths of dark fruit flavours and smooth powerful tannins. This dry Portuguese red has body to burn and rich flavours to impress with hints of dried red berries, ripe plums and even notes of stewed fruit. 

This is massively good value for money and comes from the family owned Casa Santos Lima winery.

Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga

Beautiful dark juicy Portuguese red made from indigenous grapes; Touriga Nacional, Castelao, Camarate and Tinta Muida, which are grown on a combination of clay and limestone soils. 

Soft, smooth and with structure, this wine has ripe blueberry flavours, which are nicely balanced by the bold dark fruity flavours of the other three grapes in the blend. All of the grapes in this wine were fermented in temperature controlled tanks up to 30 degrees C and aged for three to four months in oak; a relatively brief time, which allows the rich fruit flavours to shine and be the hero.

This is a wine with a deep colour, aromatically rich with predominant notes of ripe fruit, spices and vegetables. In the mouth it is well balanced and velvety with notes
Vinification

The grapes, previously destemmed, went through a low temperature pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation was done in small stainless vats with temperature control, not going over 27. ° Celsius for 12 days. The wine aged, partially, for 5 months in French and American oak barrels.
Viticulture - Density of 4.200 Plants/ha. Clay and limestone soils.

100% Chardonnay from Vinho Regional Lisboa.

The vines are planted at a density of 4.200 Plants/ha on clay and limestone soils. The fruit is destemmed and then pressed and fremented at tempreatures around 18 degrees celcius.

With the ideal soil and climate conditions, the result is a top quality, aromatic, concentrated wine. Great diurnal variation results in ripe fruits but supporting acidity.

Syrah is usually regarded as a French grape but it has found a remarkably delicious home in southern Portugal's Alentejo region where its thick skins and ripe black fruit flavours have clearly ripened incredibly well. This deeply coloured, full bodied, intensely flavoursome dry red is made from 100% Syrah and has great aging potential. 

It also drinks exceptionally well right now. Decant and sip in a large glass. Or stash a few bottles in your wine collection and leave them for eight to nine years. 

Stunning medium bodied dry white made from Portugal's delicious Alvarinho grape, best known and loved for its lovely lemon flavours and refreshing depths of dry, savoury aroma notes. 

This is an excellent example of a great white to drink with seafood, fresh or dried.
