Unit price perThe award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whiskies from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, which are then married in a huge variety of casks, including bourbon barrels, sherry butts and refill hogsheads. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning Japanese whisky.
Nose: Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice and a little oak.
Palate: Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit.
Finish: Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.
Nose A meeting of oloroso and crisp pot still character. Malty, too. Lovely fruitcake richness, though not as sweet as in recent years. Palate Very firm, oily, intense and mouthfilling. 14 years old, this Glentauchers-Glenlivet bottled by Cadenhead has been matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. With pear drops, peaches, treacle and a touch of nutmeg on the nose, we've landed in Scotland for pudding on a winter's night. Flavours of poached pears and vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate flakes come alive on the palate. The finish is a wee glass of mulled wine, rich and warming with orange slices, crushed cloves and dark chocolate.

Unit price perThis release from Penderyn is known as their traditional 'house style'. It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished further in ex-Madeira wine casks. This combination of casks gives a fresh and creamy nose with notes of cream toffee, rich fruits and raisins. To taste, there is a drying quality which leads to crisp notes and sweetness. Tropical fruit, raisins and vanilla come together to produce a lingering finish.

Back in the 1880s Alfred Barnard, author of The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom, enjoyed an 8 year old Lagavulin he described as "exceptionally fine". As part of their 200th anniversary celebrations, the distillery have therefore decided to recreate an 8 year old! It's bottled at an exciting 48% abv and was matured in refill European and American oak casks.
Nose: Salted popcorn, honey-roasted nuts, tarry ropes and light hints of freshly-chopped cedar. A touch of burnt sugar sweetness lingers.
Palate: Smokey peat appears first on the palate, followed by coriander seed, barley sugar, cumin powder, smoked kipper and marzipan.
Finish: Layers of apple crumble, toasted almond and ash. Another kick of cooking spices right at the end.
GlenDronach is, quite simply, the go to distillery for sherry aged whiskies. This large, imposing Victorian distillery makes whisky to match and some of their single cask offerings are as dark as night and like drinking liquid Xmas pudding and crêpes suzettes.

It's the sixth batch of Balvenie?s much-loved Tun 1509 series! This batch is a no age statement vatting of 21 casks from distillery, with a mixture of refill sherry butts, bourbon barrels and DoubleWood refill sherry butts. The Speysider was married in Tun 1509 for three months before bottling at 50.4% ABV. If you are so inclined, the presentation tube even comes with a breakdown of the 21 casks used to create the whisky, for your perusal.
Nose: Rich on the nose with soft brown sugar, toffee, blossom honey and ginger oak spices.
Palate: Beautiful depth on the palate with a touch of maple syrup, candied orange and runny honey.
Finish: Sweet and malty on the finish alongside swathes of oak vanilla and a spicy layer.
A 21 year old blended malt from the MacNair's Lum Reek range, produced by the GlenAllachie Distillers Company. Built around a blend created by Billy Walker of peated Islay and Speyside whiskies, alongside with GlenAllachie single malt, this expression packs a satisfying peaty punch. It features whisky drawn from a combination of Oloroso, virgin oak and red wine casks.
Nose: Matured oak and cigar box, with a good whiff of woody smoke gliding through.
Palate: Cedar spices, milk chocolate, apricot, earthy peat, black pepper and a hint of charcoal.
Finish: Thyme honey, bonfire embers, dark chocolate tart.

A whisky that focuses on the richer side of Benriach's spirit, as well as it's darker smokier side. Aged for 12 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and marsala casks, the peat smoke is complimented by dried fruit and vanilla from the bourbon and sherry casks, and rich, sweet fruit from the marsala.
