A traditional Barolo, one of Prunotto's historic labels, whose first vintage was produced in 1905 from the best grapes of the vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. Aging takes place in large oak barrels of various sizes, further enhancing the extraordinary typicity of Nebbiolo in this region.
Grapes were carefully selected, destemmed and crushed. Maceration on the skins lasted for approximately 8 days at a maximum temperature of 30° C (86° F). Malolactic fermentation was completed before the end of winter. The wine was aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels of varying capacities, allowing Barolo to develop great balance.
Prunotto’s Barolo is an intense garnet red colour. An elegant and generous nose offers delicate spicy notes together with aromas of flowers and small red fruit. The palate is intense and well balanced with soft, silky tannins. The finish is rich and persistent.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
