Mas Vilella is a beautiful State located in La Bisbal del Penedès on the mountain of El Rotllat at 250 meters altitude. There is a beautiful XVI century old traditional Catalan House Mas Vilella with a very nice old cellar. Albert’s parents Benjamí and Maria, planted this beautiful vineyard in a very poor calcareous and was plenty of rocks where only almonds and carob trees had been cultivated because they survived extremely poor lands, but my father planted a vineyard. In this farm, Mas Vilella (red wine) was elaborated since 1988. Albert returns home to continue his father’s legacy by growing vineyards around his family’s old house (Masia) where Albert Jané and his family are living now.

Mas Vilella comes from a single farm of extremely poor and rocky land with very low yields of 15-20 hl / hectare.

Made with 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Sumoll. Mas Vilella is a unique State Wine harvested and selected by hand. The Wine was aged in large barrels of 300 and 400 liters of new French oak and one year old for 12 months.
